剑桥雅思5 Test 2听力Section 4答案解析 Antarctica
剑桥雅思5听力第二套题目的第四部分由10道提纲型填空题组成，基本上算是剑桥雅思4-7中跟现在考试最为贴近的一部分。整体来看，题目难度不算太大，定位词都很明显，但它同时也设置了一些小的陷阱来误导大家。只要稍加注意，应该就能取得不错的正确率。下面是具体题目的答案解析。

第31题答案：58
对应原文：the highest, coldest and windiest continent and over fifty-eight times the size of the UK
解析：听到windiest continent意识到答案即将到来。从题干中可以推测空上应该填的是数字，再加上over与more than的替换，由此确定答案。
第32题答案：desert
对应原文：most of the continent technically falls unbelievably into the category of ‘desert’
解析：这道题要稍难一些。听到most知道到了答案所在的句子。但中间的falls unbelievably into the category说的比较快，不太好分辨。如果知道category是classified的同义替换的话，可以很容易确定答案为desert。不过哪怕不知道，这个句子里只有desert读的最重，是答案的可能性也最大。
第33题答案：science
对应原文： Here science and technical support have been integrated in a very cost-effective way
解析：这道题出现了语序颠倒，technical support提前。不过并列关系仍然存在，可以凭此确定答案。大家要注意的是，如果空出现在题干的句首，那么答案在听力原文中也有很大可能在开头出现，很容易反应不过来。
第34题答案：(small) hospital
对应原文：There’s living and working space, a kitchen with a huge food store, a small hospital and a well-equipped gym
解析：题干上空与work areas, kitchen并列，原文中并列关系并没有任何改变，比较好确定答案。这里老烤鸭小编要提醒大家的是small hospital的small最好能带上。以防其他题目中评分标准较为严格，不带修饰词会被判错。
第35题答案：ship
对应原文：Supplies were brought to us on large sledges from a ship fifteen kilometres away at the ice edge.
解析：这道题目的难点有两个：一是提示词sledge比较陌生，听到之后需要反应一下才知道到了这道题目。二是ship读的偏短偏快，如果听音辨音能力不好的话，很有可能听到了答案，却不知道究竟对应哪个单词。
第36题答案：platforms
对应原文：… finally came up with a remarkable solution – the buildings are placed on platforms which can be raised …
解析：听到buildings意识到答案即将出现，根据空前词on可以确定答案为platforms。但介词因为比较短小，不太好听，所以需要大家多多练习才行。
第37题答案：3500
对应原文：someone in Antarctica will need about 3,500 -just over double!
解析：这道题前面说了1700作为干扰项，但那是英国人每日摄取的热量，不符合题干中南极的要求。因此继续往下，确定答案为3500.
第38题答案：(ocean) currents
对应原文：since these may have profound effects on world sea levels and on ocean currents
解析：题干上空与sea levels并列，可以根据这一并列关系来确定答案。currents在这里是洋流的意思。除了拼写之外不存在其他难度。

解析：听到bubble意识到答案即将到来。虽然index跟measure的同义替换不太好识别。但pollution读的比较重，可以根据词性和语义来辅助判断答案。
