第31题答案：B
对应原文：so they decided to manage the project themselves. Their chief aim was to create somewhere that was as environmentally-friendly as possible
答案解析：原文中提到他们希望对环境尽可能的友好，即对环境问题感兴趣，由此确定B为答案。A选项中的no experience of living in a rural area与原文描述相反，C选项则是错在manager上。
