I am going to tell you an experience that I decided to transfer to another primary school when I was eleven years old. Back then, I had studied in Huayuan primary school for 4 years, which was located in the south of my city, about 5 minutes’ walk from my home. Because of my amiable personality and excellent academic performance, I made a lot of good friends, was the teachers’ favorite student, and served as the class leader.
But just when I ended my fourth grade, my family relocated to the northeast of my city. Although it was a small town, this still meant that I had to spend over an hour more on the road every day, and my parents would not have time to send me to and pick me up from school. This article is from laokaoya website. They had found a new one nearby, with better facilities and a much bigger playground. But instead of directly transferring me there, they left the final choice to me.
On the one hand were my lovely friends, teachers, and familiar surroundings. On the other were more time on bed and less time on the road. I was caught in a dilemma. After pondering for four days, I eventually decided to go to the new school, but I asked my parents to do the registration on the second day of the new term so that I could say goodbye to my beloved ones on the first day.
This decision was important because it directly influenced my educational journey and personal growth. The proximity factor played a crucial role in optimizing my time management and overall well-being. Ultimately, this decision laid a solid foundation for my academic success and paved the way for future educational endeavors, setting me on a path towards a fulfilling and prosperous future.
