雅思写作超好用的9分替换词：foremost

Foremost，含义为“最重要的，最初的，居于首位地”，被剑桥字典归为C2等级，对应8.5-9分。我自己在雅思写作中比较喜欢用它来替换the most important。

比如：one of the most important benefits of the internet就可以改写为one of the foremost benefits of the internet。但它其实也可以用来替换primarily, mainly，predominantly等表示程度的副词。

除此之外，它还有个比较高端的倒装结构：foremost among … is …，表示…之中最重要的是…。比如Foremost among the solutions to traffic congestion is investment in public transport(交通拥堵的众多解决方案中，最重要的是投资公共交通)。不过需要注意的是，该表达更加书面化，不太适用于口语。
