Do you like meeting new people?

Not at all. In fact, I am a little afraid to meet new people. You know, since I do not know their hobbies, what they like, and whether they have some taboos, it is quite challenging to start a topic appealing to both parties. So I always avoid meeting new people. Even if I had to, I would remain silent for the most time.

How do you feel when people welcome you?

I feel so awkward that I may even forget how to step forward and swing my arms. You know, all those people gaze at you, applauding and hoping you this article is from Laokaoya website give them some response. It is like suddenly placing a normal person at the centre of the stage and expecting him to present a wonderful performance, which would certainly bring a lot of pressure.

Do you often meet new people?

Fortunately, I do not. As a college student living in the university, I rarely meet strangers. Most of my activities are conducted on the campus, be it the library, the dormitory or the classroom, which means I only need to deal with my classmates and roommates, all of whom are pretty familiar to me.

Can you tell if you like someone when you meet them for the first time? Why?

I have to admit that I lack this kind of ability. I used to think I could, but the reality soon slapped my face. There are those who left a very pleasant impression on me when we first met, but then they presented a totally different image in the later interactions and completely changed my feelings towards them. So as far as I am concerned, the first impression is not reliable at all.
