Well, I think there are many kinds of souvenirs people enjoy buying from tourist attractions. Off the top of my head, items that represent the local custom, culture or the best quality are their favorite. For instance, this article is from Laokaoya website, they would buy a cashmere scarf if they are traveling at a famous tourist spot in Scotland because you know they have one of the best cashmere products in the world. Also, people would probably buy some postcards and send them out to their friends at the near post office. These cards are the wonderful memories and wish that one can send to their friends while traveling.
我觉得人们会买各种各样的纪念品。我能想到的就是那些能够代表本地风俗或者文化乃至最优质量的产品就是他们的最爱。例如，他们会在苏格兰的一个著名景点购买羊绒围巾，因为他们那里盛产世界上最好的羊绒产品之一。另外，人们也许会买一些明信片然后在附近的邮局发送给他们的朋友。一个人若是在旅行，那么发这些卡片能够代表他旅行的的美好回忆和祝福。
