这个短语表达中有一个英文初学者或者中级学者不太熟悉的词语-Pinch. Pinch有两个词性，作为动词的时候是squeeze tightly between the fingers (捏)、cut the top off(修剪)等意思。而作为名词的时候有匮乏、少量(the amount of sth that you can hold between your finger and thumb)等意思。

而take with a pinch of salt 在这个表达中并不是说拿了一小撮盐。我们在表达一种将信将疑的感受时就可以使用这个短语。

例如：
