Who do you live with?
Right now, I live with a few of my very close friends. We’re all students, and we all study at the China Agricultural University. I really enjoy my living situation right now.
现在，我和我的一些很好的朋友住在一起。我们都是学生，我们都在中国农业大学学习。我很享受现在居住的情况。
What kind of housing/accommodation do you live in?
I live in a medium-sized apartment. It’s actually a very nice place to live. There’s a kitchen, two bathrooms, three bedrooms, and even a living room! I certainly wouldn’t say that I’m living luxuriously, but I’m very comfortable.
我居住在一个中等大小的公寓里。其实是一个非常棒的居住地。有一个厨房，两个卫生间，三个卧室，然后还有一个客厅。我不敢说我居住的很奢华，但是我很舒服。
Do you live in a house or a flat?
As I mentioned before, I live in a medium-sized apartment which is located in Haidian District.
正如我提到过，我居住在一个中等型号的公寓里，它位于海淀区。
What’s the difference between where you are living now and where you have lived in the past?
Well, I’ve always lived in apartments, so that’s nothing new… I think that the biggest difference is probably that I live with my friends now, but before I always lived with my family. 我一直都居住在公寓楼里面，所以没什么新鲜的。我认为最大的区别可能在于我现在和我的朋友居住在一起，但是之前我都是和我的家人住在一起的。所以我现在得自己打扫清洁，意味着我的房子比我以前居住的房子要更乱一些。
Can you describe the place where you live?
As I mentioned before, my current apartment is not extremely spacious, but it’s also not very small. I think that it’s a good size. I also have the master bedroom, so I’m happy with the amount of space that I have.
正如我提到过，我目前的公寓不是特别大，但是也不是很小。我认为是个很好的大小。我住在主卧里，所以我对我目前的空间感到满意。
Which room does your family spend most of the time in?
I have to think a bit about this question… My family probably spends the most time in the living room, because that’s where our TV is! We really like to watch movies and TV shows, so usually, at least one person will be in the living room.
我得思考一会儿这个问题。我家人大多数时间都待在客厅，因为那里有我们的电视机。我非常喜欢看电影和电视剧，所以经常起码有一个人在客厅里。
How long have you lived there?
I’ve lived in my current apartment for the past two years, but when I was growing up I lived in an apartment in my hometown for the first eighteen years of my life. Most kids move a few times, but I didn’t move until my first year of university.
我在我目前的公寓居住了大概两年时间，但是我成长的前18年里，我都住在家乡的一间公寓里。很多小孩都搬家好几次，但是我是到了大学才第一次搬家的。
What do you usually do in your house/flat/room?
To be honest, I don’t spend very much time in my apartment. I like to be out of the house usually. But when I’m home I like to relax, so sometimes I watch TV. Other times I just listen to music in my bed.
老实说，我并不在我的公寓待很久。我喜欢在外面待着。但是当我在家了，我喜欢放松，所以有的时候我会看电视。其它时候我会在我床上听音乐。
Do you plan to live there for a long time?
I’m not exactly sure. I think that I might move again this summer. I’ve really enjoyed living in my apartment, but I want to find a place that’s a little less expensive.
我也不太确信。我认为我夏天就会再次搬家。我真的很享受居住在我的公寓，但是我想找一个更便宜的地方居住。
Are the transport facilities to your home very good?
I’ve honestly been very satisfied with transportation in Beijing. There’re many buses and subway lines very close-by. I can get to wherever I need to go pretty easily. I also really like the shared bikes in Beijing. They make it pretty easy for me to get around.
我其实还是对北京的交通很满意的。附近有很多公交车和地铁线。我去哪儿都非常的方便。我也很喜欢北京的共享单车。这些都让我出行很方便。
Please describe the room you live in?
I really love my bedroom. It’s the biggest room in the apartment, which means I have lots of space for all of my things. Uh, for example, I have a big closet for all my clothes. I also have a TV and some very good speakers. They are all essential to my daily life.
我真得非常喜欢我的卧室。它是我公寓最大的房间了，我可以有很多空间来置放我的所有东西。例如，我有装我衣服的超大衣柜。我还有台电视机，以及一些非常不错的音响。这些东西对我日常生活来说都很重要。
Do you prefer living in a house or a flat?
Right now I definitely prefer living in an apartment. I’m still new to living on my own, so an apartment has much less space for me to clean. But when I’m raising a family I think I’m going to want to have more space, so I think I’ll prefer a house when I’m older.
现在我绝对喜欢居住在公寓里。我独自居住生活时间不长，所以相对小的公寓更好收拾。但是，当我要养家了，我认为我会想要更大的空间。所以我认为等我年纪大点了我更倾向于大房子。
What part of your home do you like the most?
That’s a hard question because I’m quite into a lot of things about my apartment… This might be a strange answer, but I think that my favorite part about my home is that I get to live with my best friends. In the future, what type of place would you like to live in?
As I mentioned before, I think that I’ll want to live in a house when I’m older. It doesn’t have to be very big, but I want to have a nice backyard for my kids to play in. I also want to have a fireplace because I think it looks awesome.

What can you see from the window of your apartment?
It’s funny that you should ask because the view from my window is one of the best parts of where I live! I have a really great view of the Haidian tower. In fact, whenever I bring people over to my apartment for the first time, they always compliment the view.
这个问题很有意思，因为我觉得从我窗子外看出来的景色是我所居住的地方最佳的一部分了。我能很清楚的看到海淀塔。实际上，我每次带朋友第一次来我公寓，他们总是会赞赏这个景色。
Is your home far from here?
No, my home is really not too far from here. It’s maybe a twenty-five-minute walk away. This morning I got here pretty easily… It’s just a quick bus ride away.
不，我的家距离这不远。大概二十五分钟的步行距离吧。今天早上我过来特别轻松，公汽很快就开过来了。
