Describe the first day of your school
You should say
When it was
Where you were
And how you felt during that day
The experience I am going to tell you happened about three years ago. It was the first day of my university. Having graduated from high school and turned into 18 years old during that summer, I felt I was already a grown-up. So I refused my parents’ company and embarked on the journey to my university all by myself.
It was located in another city nearly 2000 kilometres away, I deliberately chose it not only because of its prestigious status in China, but also because I wanted to be far away from my hometown, get rid of my parent’s influence and enjoy my university life to the greatest extent.
It was a bustling day. I arrived at the school at about 9 o’clock in the morning and did not have an opportunity to take a rest until 7 in the evening. This article is from Laokaoya website. I had not expected there were so many things awaiting me. I first registered with the dormitory and put my luggage in the room, and then went to the stadium to be photographed so that the student card could be made. After this, I attended the orientation organized by my department and got to know my classmates. Finally, I was shown around the campus by senior students to get familiar with the various facilities.
Despite the intense schedule of that day and the great tiredness it brought about, I was so excited when the day was over. Now I was officially a college student and the colourful life of the university was going to unfold.
