The natural place I am going to tell you about is called the National Flower Park of China, nestled in the northeast corner of my city, amid a cluster of historical buildings. To its north is the city wall in Sui and Tang Dynasties over 1400 years ago, and to its west is the White Horse Temple, the first official Buddhist temple built nearly 2000 years ago. Wandering on the street is like transporting back to the ancient China.
This park has been an icon of my city ever since I was a child and is listed as one of the most popular attractions for tourists. This article is from laokaoya website. So it is almost impossible to ignore its existence. Whenever I feel a need to get close to nature or exercise, it would naturally pop up in my mind. I have to say jogging along the paths winding through tress, bushes, and flowers is truly an enjoyment.
The park houses tens of thousands of peonies in various species. Apart from the normal red and pink flowers, you can also find green, purple, and even black ones. Every April, the peony blossom attracts millions of visitors to appreciate its beauty. Amid the flower sea, people stroll along the winding paths, picnic under the trees, take pictures with their beloved ones, or simply breathed the fragrance in the air greedily.
I like this park because it is an emblem of my city council’s effort to strive for a balance between economic development and environment preservation. The two- or three-story wooden structures complement with The sky-scrappers, and the vibrant green space dots the concrete and steel forest. Here, I can take a break from my hectic routine and feel the beauty of life.
