The experience I’m going to talk about happened on a Sunday afternoon several months ago. I’d already finished all my assignments and had absolutely nothing to do. My friends were busy with their own things, and I’d also got bored with playing video games, so I was looking for something to kill time. Then it occurred to me that a classmate of mine had recommended an action movie called John Wick a few days earlier. He’d spoken very highly of it, so I thought I’d give it a go.

我要讲的这次经历发生在几个月前的一个周日下午。当时我已经写完了所有作业，实在没什么事情可做。我的朋友们都有自己的事情要忙，我也玩腻了电子游戏，所以想找点东西打发时间。这时我突然想起来，几天前有个同学向我推荐了一部叫《疾速追杀》的动作电影。他对这部电影评价很高，于是我决定看一看。

I searched for the film online and found that it hadn’t been released theatrically in China. In the end, I managed to find a copy online and watched it on my computer. The plot was fairly straightforward, but the action sequences were incredibly exciting, and I was completely absorbed in the film.

Unfortunately, just as John had dealt with the first group of enemies, my computer suddenly crashed and restarted. At first, I didn’t think much of it because computers occasionally do that. However, a few minutes later, I realized that it was stuck in a restart loop. It would turn itself on, show the startup screen for a while, and then restart all over again. Eventually, I realized the problem was beyond me, so with no other option, I unplugged the computer, searched for the nearest computer repair shop on my phone and took a taxi there. When I arrived, I was taken aback by how crowded the place was. It was packed with people waiting to have their phones, laptops and other electronic devices repaired. I ended up waiting for almost two hours before it was finally my turn.

最后，我意识到这个问题已经超出了我的能力范围。别无选择之下，我拔掉电脑电源，用手机搜索了附近的电脑维修店，然后打车过去。到那里之后，我被店里的人数吓了一跳。里面挤满了等待维修手机、笔记本电脑以及其他电子设备的人。我最终等了差不多两个小时才轮到自己。

Fortunately, once the technician examined my computer, the problem turned out to be less serious than I’d feared. He told me that some system files had become corrupted, which was why the computer kept restarting. He managed to repair the operating system without wiping my personal files, and after that, the computer booted up normally again. I breathed a huge sigh of relief because I’d been worried that I might lose all the documents and photos stored on it.

幸运的是，维修人员检查过我的电脑之后，我发现问题并没有自己想象得那么严重。他告诉我，一些系统文件出现了损坏，所以电脑才会不停地重新启动。他最终在没有删除我个人文件的情况下修复了操作系统，之后电脑就可以正常开机了。我顿时松了一大口气，因为之前我一直担心电脑里的文档和照片可能会全部丢失。

Looking back, the whole experience was pretty frustrating. Not only did I fail to finish the movie that afternoon, but I also spent hours waiting in a repair shop. Still, I was extremely relieved to get my computer back in working order. It also taught me to back up important files regularly because you never know when your computer might suddenly let you down.

现在回想起来，整个经历还是挺让人郁闷的。那天下午我不仅没能把电影看完，还在维修店里等了好几个小时。不过，看到电脑最终恢复正常，我还是感到非常庆幸。这件事也让我养成了定期备份重要文件的习惯，因为你永远不知道电脑什么时候会突然出问题。
