Do you like the area that you live in? 你喜欢你居住的地方吗？
Yes, I do. I only moved there with a friend quite recently, but so far I’ve really enjoyed living there. The neighborhood is fairly new, so most of the facilities are in good condition, and the people who live there seem quite friendly as well. It’s generally a comfortable and convenient place to live.
是的，我喜欢。我最近才和一个朋友搬到这里，不过到目前为止，我还是挺喜欢住在这里的。这个小区比较新，所以大部分设施状况都很好，而且住在这里的人似乎也挺友善。总体来说，这是一个生活起来既舒服又方便的地方。
What are some changes in the area recently? 最近附近发生了哪些变化？
I haven’t noticed that many changes, but there’s one that stands out. There used to be a crowded street market nearby where people bought things like vegetables, fruit, and other everyday food. It was renovated recently, and now it looks more like a modern indoor market. It’s much cleaner and more organized than it used to be.
我没有注意到特别多的变化，不过有一处让我印象很深。附近以前有一个比较拥挤的街市，人们会在那里购买蔬菜、水果以及其他日常食品。最近那里经过了翻修改造，现在看起来更像一个现代化的室内市场，比以前干净整洁了很多。
Do you know any famous people in your area? 你认识附近的名人吗？
Not personally, but I’ve heard that a fairly well-known actress lives somewhere in my area. I’ve seen her around the neighborhood a couple of times, and she always seemed quite friendly and down-to-earth. This article is from Laokaoya website. I’ve never actually had a proper conversation with her, though, so I wouldn’t say I really know her.
谈不上认识，不过我听说有一位挺有名的女演员就住在我们这一带。我在附近见过她几次，感觉她挺友善的，也没有什么明星架子。不过我其实从来没有真正和她聊过天，所以严格来说，我并不能算认识她。
Where do you like to go in that area? 在你住的区域里，你喜欢去哪里？
There’s a public park just behind my neighborhood that I really like. It has a small artificial river as well as lots of trees and flowers, so it’s a really pleasant place to go for a walk. I sometimes go there with my family in the evening, especially when the weather is nice.
我们小区后面有一个我很喜欢的公园。里面有一条小小的人工河，还有很多树木和花草，所以非常适合散步。天气不错的时候，我有时候会在晚上和家人一起去那里走一走。
