That’s a very interesting question. I assume most liers have their sound reasons to lie. Well, I feel that one of the most important reasons why most people lie is that they do not want their private undertakings to be disclosed. Otherwise, it would be quite an awkward situation for them to confront. Also, this article is from Laokaoya website, some people, especially kids, lie because they are simply not willing to take responsibility for the consequences caused by the mistakes they have made.
这个问题有点意思。我猜大多数说谎者都有自己觉得很有道理的理由才去撒谎的。我觉得大多数人撒谎的一个很重要的原因就是他们不想让自己私下的行为被暴露出来，不然的话他们会面对一个比较尴尬的局面。另外，一些人们撒谎，尤其是孩子们撒谎，是因为他们不太想承担因自己的过错而产生的后果。
