Would you like to play in a public garden or park? 你喜欢在公共花园还是公园里玩？

I’d probably choose a public park. Parks usually have more open space and large grassy areas where I can walk my dog or go for a jog. Gardens can be beautiful, especially when the flowers are in bloom, but I personally prefer somewhere with more space to move around.

我可能会选择公共公园。公园通常有更加开阔的空间和大片草地，我可以在那里遛狗或者慢跑。花园当然也很漂亮，尤其是鲜花盛开的时候，但我个人还是更喜欢活动空间大一些的地方。

What do you like to do when visiting a park? 你在公园里喜欢做什么？

Most of the time, I go there for a jog. There’s actually a stadium near my home, but I prefer the park because the air feels fresher and it’s much nicer to exercise around trees and grass. This article is from Laokaoya website. Sometimes, when I’m tired of studying, I just sit on a bench and watch children playing or older people exercising. It’s a nice way to unwind.

大多数时候，我会去公园慢跑。其实我家附近就有一个体育场，但我更喜欢公园，因为那里的空气感觉更加清新，而且在树木和草地周围锻炼也更加舒服。有时候学习累了，我就坐在长椅上，看看小孩子玩耍或者老年人锻炼。这对我来说是一种很好的放松方式。

How have parks changed today compared to the time when you were a kid? 跟你小时候相比，现在的公园有什么改变？

I think they’ve generally become bigger and better designed. When I was a kid, most of the parks I knew were fairly small and didn’t have that many facilities. Nowadays, I’ve seen some really large parks with lakes, walking paths, playgrounds, and plenty of green space, so there seems to be much more to do there.

我觉得现在的公园总体上变得更大了，设计也更加完善。小时候，我接触到的大多数公园都比较小，里面也没有太多设施。现在，我见过一些非常大的公园，里面有湖泊、步道、儿童游乐区以及大片绿地，所以可以进行的活动似乎也丰富了很多。

Would you prefer to play in a personal garden or public garden? 你喜欢在私人花园里玩，还是在公共花园里玩？

I’d prefer a public garden. They’re usually much bigger than private gardens, so there’s more space to walk around, and you can often see a wider variety of flowers and plants. Private gardens can be lovely as well, but if I were going somewhere specifically to relax and enjoy the scenery, I’d probably choose a public one.

我更喜欢公共花园。它们通常比私人花园大很多，因此有更多空间可以四处走走，而且往往能够看到种类更加丰富的花卉和植物。私人花园当然也可以很漂亮，不过如果我是专门找一个地方放松、欣赏风景的话，我可能还是会选择公共花园。
