No, I don’t think so. It’s true that online shopping has given people great convenience as they are able to get a vast majority of items without stepping out of their homes. However, this article is from Laokaoya website, there are still some occasions where in-store shopping is more essential to customers. The most obvious one would be that you can’t possibly touch and feel the items you might want to purchase online but can definitely get this experience in the bricks and mortar stores. The need for this physical experience would still exist for a long time until more advanced technologies such as neural link, AR and VR would become mainstream.
