Why did you choose to do that type of work (or, that job)? 你为什么选择这类工作（或者这份工作）？

I chose psychology because I’ve always been curious about why people behave the way they do. I wanted to understand more about people’s thoughts, emotions, and behavior, and I also liked the idea of being able to help people who are struggling with mental health problems. That’s what originally attracted me to the field.

Yes, sometimes I do. Working comes with a lot more responsibility, so I occasionally miss the days when my main concerns were going to class, finishing my assignments, and spending time with my friends. Yes, I think psychology is really intriguing. What I like most is learning why people sometimes think or behave in ways that seem surprising at first. Some of the theories I’ve studied have actually changed the way I understand my own behavior and the people around me, so the subject feels quite relevant to everyday life.

Yes, I do. I work in psychology, so a large part of my job involves helping people deal with mental health problems and other difficulties in their lives. It can be quite demanding at times, but it’s also very rewarding, especially when I see someone gradually make progress and start to feel better. That’s probably what I like most about the job.
